Welcome to Found Sound, Austin’s creative home for musicians. We’re a community-centered rehearsal space designed by musicians who understand that the right environment can make all the difference. Found Sound exists to provide comfortable, high-quality rooms where you can focus on what really matters: making music. Whether you’re running your live set, writing new material, capturing content for social media, or just jamming with friends, you’ll find the space you need to sound your best and feel at home.

What We Offer

Found Sound currently features six professionally equipped rehearsal rooms available for hourly booking. Each room is sound-treated, easy to access, and stocked with the essentials so you can walk in, plug in, and play.

Each Room Includes:
- PA system with 2 microphones, stands, 4 XLR cables, and a power strip
- Rooms available with backline drumkits and bass amps
- Rentable gear like keyboards and amps.
- Extra resources available like music stands, keyboard stands, cables, and folding chairs.
- Adjustable lighting,
- Easy load-in and buzz in access for security

We keep everything maintained and ready to go, so you can spend your time creating instead of troubleshooting gear.

The Found Sound Experience

At Found Sound, comfort is the foundation. We’ve designed our rooms to feel welcoming, inspiring, and stress-free, with a touch of that old Austin soul. This is a space built for the long haul, a gathering place for local musicians, producers, and performers who believe in community, consistency, and the joy of making music together. We’re proud to offer an environment where artists of all levels can create freely, connect with others, and keep the local music scene thriving.

Hours & Booking

- Open daily: 12 PM – 2 AM (call 512-553-6051 for morning & after hours bookings)
- Booking: Available online on our room rentals page
- Payment: Credit, debit, Venmo, Cashapp, Paypal, and Zelle accepted

- Parking: Free on-site and street parking and easy load-in access

Hourly Room Rates & Backline

- Room 1 : $25/hour. Includes PA, 8 channel mixer, 2 microphones & stands, 4 XLR cables, power strip, and a five-piece drumkit (drummer brings their own snare & cymbals)

- Room 2: $20/hour. Includes PA, 8 channel mixer, 2 microphones & stands, 4 XLR cables, power strip

- Room 3: $20/hour. Includes PA, 8 channel mixer, 2 microphones & stands, 4 XLR cables, power strip

- Room 4: $30/hour. Includes PA, 8 channel mixer, 2 microphones & stands, 4 XLR cables, power strip, bass amp, and a five-piece 
drumkit (drummer brings their own snare & cymbals). Please note: this room is on the second floor.

- Room 5: $30/hour. Includes PA, 8 channel mixer, 2 microphones & stands, 4 XLR cables, power strip, bass amp, and a five-piece drumkit (drummer brings their own snare & cymbals). Please note: this room is on the second floor.

- Room 6: $25/hour. Includes PA, 8 channel mixer, 2 microphones & stands, 4 XLR cables, power strip, and a five-piece drumkit (drummer brings their own snare & cymbals). Please note: this room is on the second floor.

Each room comes equipped, but if you still need extra gear such as more microphones, guitar amps, keyboards, stands etc. we got you covered! You can choose any of these items from the “extras” menu while booking a room.
